As some of you may know, I have been spending this winter in Sarasota Fl. Needless to say, I have missed my studio in Upstate NY. It is so much more that just a work space; it is also a refuge and a place that inspires me. Well, I finally appropriated some work space here. It is so bare and horribly “empty” but this weekend will see great changes as I am starting to bring new supplies in. Exciting….I already have a very comfortable space for small works, my digital work and writing which has sustained me for the past few months. My place in the sun is quite wonderful, right next to a small lake. I also walk on a path through the mangrove to the intercoastal canal. Beautiful and inspiring. Cannot wait to incorporate some of that in my new paintings. So keep tuned in for more about that. Enjoy the mild weather wherever you are.
